Hi beautiful blog readers! Today I’m sharing answers to 21 questions. Hopefully this will help you get to know me a little better! Some of these questions I have been asked on Instagram and Facebook, and others I have nabbed from this sweet post by Mattie.
Where do you live?
I live on a dairy farm in Southland, New Zealand. We have a total of 4 houses on our road which happens to be 3km long, so it’s pretty quiet around here!
What’s your favourite colour?
PINK! I gravitate towards pink for drink bottles, stationery, pretty things and nail polish. For clothing, my favourite colours are white, navy, black and grey.
What do you do for a job?
I’m a trained primary school teacher but am a stay at home housewife at the moment!
Do you have pets?
Two! A white and ginger cat called Tinky, and a tabby kitten called Maisy. Maisy was a wild farm cat just a few weeks ago and Aaron and I have been taming her. She’s super friendly now, but was nasty to begin with. The farm also has various pets that I claim as mine, such as a sheep called Chocolate and Aaron’s work dog Boof (rhymes with woof).
What’s your favourite movie?
My go-to movie is Wildchild. I have watched that movie so many times and quote it often. I’ve even caught Aaron saying “BTW, which FYI means by the way.” LOVE.
Where’s somewhere you would like to visit?
Oh, this is tough! I would like to say everywhere! The top of my list would probably include Italy, Greece, America and Canada!
Have you travelled overseas before?
I’ve been to Australia three times and Vanuatu once.
When was the last time you cried?
Today. I will cry over anything and everything. Say something too nice or too mean to me and I turn into an emotional wreck. You’ve been warned.
What’s your favourite quote?
I think this probably changes all the time. My favourite for the last few months has been “She is clothed in strength and dignity, and laughs without fear of the future.” It’s from Proverbs 31. I have a printable of that verse that email subscribers can find in the Freebies library. :)
What’s your favourite childhood memory?
Playing with my siblings at home. :) I have three younger siblings and loved playing in our little playhouse (as pictured above), tenting in the backyard, mucking around in the sandpit, feeding our pet lambs and creating things at our ‘campsite’.
What is the toughest decision you’ve ever had to make?
It would probably be deciding what to do once I left school. It wasn’t the most important decision in my life but it sure felt like it. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do the whole university route like my friends, but didn’t want to be left out and be the girl who didn’t go to university. I somehow thought that the decision I was making for ONE year of my life was determining my whole future.
When are you going to have babies?
I would like to say that we’re expecting our first baby about 9 months after it’s conceived. ;)
What are you most scared of your husband impulse buying?
Another jetski! Haha, jokes. He only impulse buys things like cat toys now.
What are your three greatest fears?
My biggest one of probably being a widow. Especially if I had little kiddies. That would be tough! My biggest irrational fear is spiders. They are gross and I hate how they run. And I can’t think of anything else. Maybe being stuck under a rock and having to cut my arm off to survive?
What’s your greatest lesson learnt?
You don’t have to go to university and get a good job to be successful and happy. You can do good things and build great relationships with people wherever you are.
Who’s your favourite sister?
My brother in law asked this one. I have two beautiful sisters, Jorja and India and love them both equally of course! I also have a little brother who is basically the hottest 15 year old thing on two legs.
If money was not a problem, what would you do?
Oh gosh, this list is a mile long. Some things I would like to do would include starting up some amazing women’s events (like this or this or this), buying a new couch, and making our house pretty. Oh, and pay the bills! Yaaaaay!
What are your three biggest passions?
Jesus, creativity, relationships. Preferably, all of these things combined!
Who do you look up to?
I really look up to and admire one of my Aunty’s. She has the most beautiful relationship with God and it really radiates out of her. She is so lovely, humble and is always helping people out. She’s also extremely creative and makes such beautiful things. She is such a clever lady!
Are you named after anyone?
My middle name (May) is after one of my Nanny’s friends who had a lot to do with my Mum when she was growing up.
What’s your favourite social media platform right now?
I think Instagram will always be my all time favourite. It’s just so pretty! I really really like Periscope at the moment too! I love getting to see little snippets of different people’s lives and find some really good encouragement on there! I haven’t been brave enough to hop on Periscope myself yet but would love to! Any ideas on what I could do? You can find me on Instagram and Periscope under @eversobritty
That was fun! I hope you enjoyed it because I certainly did. Feel free to ask more questions in the comments below and I’ll answer them!

I love learning more about my blogger friends, this really helped me to see you, really see you. You quote ““She is clothed in strength and dignity, and laughs without fear of the future.” is such a beautiful verse and I strive to become more like this woman. I love that you shared this! And pink looks good on you! LOL I’ve never seen Wildchild, I think I need to put it on my must see list!
Brittney Guise says
Yes me too! And yes, Wildchild is a must. It’s a teenage girl movie but I’ll never grow tired of it! lol
