Can you believe it’s Easter this weekend? This year is flying by so fast! I always like to do a few crafts around holiday time. This time I thought I would try some DIY marbled Easter eggs based on the same technique I used for these bud vases. What you need:
- a container you can throw away
- a range of nail polish
- eggs
- something for the eggs to sit in (eggs cups)
Fill your container with warm water. Slowly pour nail polish across the surface of the water. You want to do this gently so it forms a film across the surface instead of sinking to the bottom.
Dunk half of an egg in the nail polish, collecting the film as you pull it out. Work fast as the nail polish dries on top to the water. Sit an egg cup to dry for about half an hour. Easy! Voila! So easy and simple. Perfect for a little Easter table arrangement I think! Have you got any fun plans for Easter?
