Some people have a real knack for buying gifts. One of my friends nails it every time and her presents are usually my favourites. This year was no exception. She got me a cute little gift bag with a whole lot of pink and gold goodies. I was in love! This adorable DIY calendar was tucked inside the bag and when I saw it I couldn’t wait to get creating!
Isn’t it cute? You can find it here. Anything pink is an obvious winner for me.
Start by cutting squares of watercolour paper to 14 by 14cm.
Paint fruity patterns and tropical images on the squares. I love having summery patterns around the house as its generally pretty cold where I live (boo). I’m always dreaming of a little more sunshine and a little less rain clouds.
Stick your art on the calendar with double sided tape. Punch a circle out of card and add a gold foil sticker. Voila!
I can’t wait to find the perfect spot for this guy to go. Happy creating!
