We decided to keep our baby’s gender a surprise (from ourselves as well as others) and it’s been so fun! I’ve loved putting together a gender neutral nursery! It was a creative challenge and I can’t wait to add little bits in once baby is here.
The room we have for the nursery is quite small, but babies don’t need a whole lot of space right? I already had the room painted grey (Gull Grey from Resene) and decided to add a polka dot wall. I explored various decal and wallpaper options, but ended up handpainting the spots, which was very cost effective, but almost made my lose my mind. 😂 It was worth it though!
I decided on the Ikea Malm drawers which I got from Akia. I’m super happy with the quality of them! I was going to go all fancy and buy drawer dividers but the budget said no. I made these ones with cardboard and white paper.
How gorgeous is this body suit from 2 Little rascals?!
One of my few splurge items was the black Tiba and Marl nappy bag. I LOVE it.
And yes… I know it’s a long time before baby will be making use of a rocking horse, but it’s cute right? It was given to me.
One of my favourite purchases is our stroller! I visited Global Baby in September and decided on the Mutsy i2. It has a carrycot, seat that can face both ways, and we can put our Maxi Cosi capsule into it. It’s a dream! A big thank you to Anita at Global Baby for helping with this!
Shout out to these AS Colour Mali t-shirts for lasting me my whole pregnancy (only just). They have good butt coverage as well as tummy coverage which is obvs very important.
Not long to go now! We can’t wait to meet this baby which will hopefully (please God, please!) arrive before Christmas and not on or after.
Love what I’ve used? Here’s the sources:
